Hello, Chinese (For Kids)

The series of books is designed for US kindergarteners who are learning Chinese as beginners, though it is also suitable for young learners in other English-speaking countries. The design and compilation concepts of Hello, Chinese are mainly based on the teaching philosophy stated in Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21st Century and ACTFL's Performance Guidelines for K-12 Learners. Hello, Chinese highlights 5Cs, namely: Communication, Cultures, Connections, Comparisons,and Communities. The series consists of a textbook and 13 picture books, which cover 13 topics closely related to or of interest to children's lives.Hello, Chinese can be used in a classroom or as reading material after class.
